All children are treated with respect and individual needs are no issue, everybody is welcome. The only rule we have is “respect for all, at all times”.
During yoga: children exercise, play, connect more deeply with the inner self, and develop an intimate relationship with the natural world that surrounds them.
Physically, yoga enhances their flexibility, strength, coordination, and body awareness. In addition, their concentration and sense of calmness and relaxation improves.
In the modern world where kids begin to experience pressures to perform it’s easy for them to feel overwhelmed.
During this time, yoga can be a great tension release associated with these daily stressors as well as an important part of healthy physical, emotional and cognitive development. During our classes there is no judgement or competition.
Loads of unconditional positivity and encouragement creates a healthy environment allowing kids to relax and have fun whilst developing strength, co-ordination, flexibility and balance as well as increased body awareness, concentration and self-esteem.
We aim for 4 main things in every class: connection, yoga and movement, mindfulness and relaxation but mostly is that we all HAVE FUN!
